There was designed Fiber optic receiver, the transmitter device - FiberMod RS2 for Klaipeda Freight Company LLC Bega lighting control.
    In the system are used optical fibers to transmit data. In this case returning FiberMod 16DI input with digital signal, Modbus protocol packet is generated, which is sent to consistent connected FiberMod RS2 devices, which process the information according to the each established value of digital signal. Then FiberMod RS2 output is affected, which enables or disables lighting. In this way it is solved distance lighting turn on / turn off problem. The operator having the remote with buttons can turn on or turn off the lighting from his working place.
